BBC Radio Nottingham’s Andy Whittaker interviewed Professor Michel Valstar, founding CEO of BlueSkeye AI, a British based start up which was set up in 2019. BlueSkeye’s technology has secured £3.4 million in funding. The UK company will use the funds to accelerate its expansion across clinical and non-clinical health and well-being markets to transform patient pathways at scale. During the interview Michel shared details about how the company has developed proprietary face and voice analysis technology powered by AI to detect mental health disorders, particularly depression and anxiety.
