BlueSkeye AI nominated for Innovation Award
Blueskeye AI has been nominated for the Innovation Award at the annual Medilink Midlands Business Awards taking place at the University of Birmingham on 16 March.
The Award, sponsored by intellectual property lawyers Barker Bretell, recognises the development of an innovative technology, design or process that has produced a major improvement in business performance and impacted the market.
Professor Michel Valstar, Founding CEO of BlueSkeye AI welcomed the nomination saying,
“Nomination for this award shows the progress we have made since we won Medilink’s “One to Watch” Award last year.
In that time we have launched a new software development kit (SDK) and developed two further SDKs which help companies utilise our technology in their products in the health, wellbeing and automotive sectors.
We’ve also secured £3.4million in venture capital funding and have grown from 14 to 24 colleagues.”
Winning organisations from seven of the categories will be automatically entered into the Medilink UK National Awards, part of the MedTech Innovation Conference & Expo (MTI), taking place on 7 and 8 June 2023.
The Medilink Business Awards celebrate the businesses at the forefront of healthcare innovation and the thriving life sciences community in the region.
